When was the last time you checked to see if your immune system was up to date? Just because you feel healthy doesn’t mean you don’t need to be vaccinated. Vaccines prevent diseases, unlike medications which only treat and might cure diseases.
We’ve all seen and experienced what it’s like to be vulnerable to a scary illness. Diseases not only affect us, but our family, our friends, and our communities. Many vaccines are available to help prevent many of these diseases.
By getting vaccinated, we protect ourselves as well as others from potentially serious health risks. Together we have a chance to eliminate diseases before they have a chance to spread.
With school coming up around the corner, it’s a good idea to call your doctor, set up an appointment to see if you need any updated immunizations.
