The holiday season is a wonderful time filled with family, friends, and fun. However, it can also be a very stressful time of the year between buying presents and attending parties and trying to stick to your budget.
It’s easy to let the stress get the best of you. That’s why it’s important to take care of yourself. One of the best ways to do that is by eating foods that help you de-stress.
Here are some of the best foods to add to your diet this holiday season.
Number one, dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is one indulgence that can actually be good for you. It’s rich in antioxidants and has been shown to decrease stress hormones and improve mood blueberries like dark chocolate.
Number two, Blueberries are also a rich source of antioxidants.
Number three, Chamomile tea. Chamomile tea has long been used as a natural remedy for anxiety and stress to help people relax both mentally and physically.
Number four, salmon. Salmons is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which have been linked to reduce anxiety.
